Social Carbon Economic Impact Potential Dashboard

LGA-level social, demographic and carbon-related indicators across Census years

Scope

Social Carbon Analytics

This dashboard integrates LGA-level social and carbon-related indicators across Census years. The system supports regional filtering, indicator exploration, temporal trend analysis and an illustrative social-carbon economic potential assessment.

The investigation is loaded from Jasmin-Charles Lab. For more information, please contact: jasmin@jasmin-charles.com

Analytical Framework

01 · Social Indicators

Demographic, educational, income, employment, household, mobility and community indicators.

02 · Carbon Interface

Indicators are interpreted in relation to carbon vulnerability, transition capacity, efficiency and decarbonisation.

03 · Regional Dynamics

Temporal trends allow changes in social-carbon conditions to be examined for individual LGAs.

04 · Social Carbon Potential

Capacity and vulnerability are combined into an illustrative relative social-carbon economic potential score.

Social-Carbon Economic Potential

Illustrative Scenario

The following score provides a conceptual mechanism for combining social-carbon capacity and vulnerability. It should not be interpreted as a verified monetary valuation.

Potential = (Capacity − Vulnerability) × Assumed Carbon Price
Capacity
Vulnerability
Potential Score

Interpretation

A higher capacity value represents stronger potential for social, institutional or economic participation in a low-carbon transition. A higher vulnerability value represents greater exposure to social or carbon-transition constraints. The potential score is therefore sensitive to the selected capacity and vulnerability indicators.
